Harold W. Bricker Obituary

Harold W. Bricker, 81, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2022, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on June 13, 1941, in St. Thomas, Pennsylvania to Martin and Flora (Wenger) Bricker. Harold graduated from St. Thomas High School in 1959.  He worked at Sunnyway Foods in Greencastle as produce manager. He and his wife owned and operated Bricker's Seafood and Produce in Greencastle. He was a real estate agent for ERA. Harold was a member of the Greencastle Antrim Chamber of Commerce where he served as president of the board of directors and was a life member of the Rescue Hose Company No. 1.  He belonged to the Greencastle Exchange Club. Harold was a member of the Chambersburg Brethren in Christ Church, served as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, church board member, and church treasurer. He and his wife served as deacon couple for the senior ministry. He enjoyed making wooden cars and airplanes that were put in shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Over ten thousand of these were distributed around the world. Fifteen years ago, he received a kidney transplant from a friend which significantly increased his quality of life. 

Harold is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Bricker, three children, Ginger, wife of Todd Peterson, Ed, husband of Patti (Timmons) Bricker, and Galen, husband of Jill (Byers) Bricker, and seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Wolgemuth and Donald Bricker.

 A visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Air Hill Cemetery.  A Celebration of Life for Harold will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Mission Hill Church (formerly Chambersburg Brethren in Christ Church) with Rev. Douglas Kelchner officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
