Harry L. Shipley, 80, of Chambersburg passed away
July 10, 2025 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
He was born November 1, 1944 the son of Howard A. and Vada P. Shipley.
Harry graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1963. He was then drafted into the Army as a Supply Specialist in 1965 and served until 1971. He worked at J. Schoeneman Company where he met his wife, Nancy whom he married in 1968.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Nancy L. (Gearhart) Shipley of Chambersburg, one daughter Wendy L. (Shipley) and husband Richard L. Hampton of Chambersburg; one granddaughter Brittani T. (Hampton) and husband Justin C. Parson of Mercersburg; one grandson Hunter T. Hampton of Chambersburg; and 2 great grandchildren Paxtyn C. Parson and Maecyn R. Parson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
