James M. Hornbaker , 74, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania passed away December 24, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on November 26, 1946 in Cumberland, Maryland to the late Clarence and Lena (Smith) Hornbaker. He had owned & operated Hornbaker's Autobody back through the 70's and Hornbaker's Logging for 30 years. He liked to hunt and was passionate about woodworking. He loved his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith A. (Reeder) Hornbaker. He is also survived by his daughter, Crystal D Hornbaker and son James Melvin Hornbaker Jr. (wife Carol.) In addition, he has four grandchildren; Ashley, Cody, Jordon and Jacob. His brother William Hornbaker and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Repp and two brothers, Ray and Larry Hornbaker.
The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. on Tuesday, December 29th from 5:30 to 7 PM. Due to current Covid-19 crisis the funeral services and interment with be private and at the convenience of the family. He will be buried at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
