Jeanne M. Mixell Collins, 70, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away January 7, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 16, 1955, in Frederick, MD, the daughter of Bettie (Hossler) Trump and Noah Isaac Bailey. Jeanne retired two years ago from Bowhead, and also worked at J. Schoenman for many years. She enjoyed shopping and decorating. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
Jeanne is survived by two daughters, Jennifer L. (wife of Mark) Culbertson and Erica K. (wife of Stewart) Heckman; four grandchildren, Bethany (wife of Eric) Reese, Kyle (husband of Madelyn) Culbertson, Garrett Heckman and Luke Heckman; four great-grandchildren; three siblings, Bill “Tink” Bender, Kevin Baugher and Debbie Bailey; as well as numerous brothers and sister-in-laws and lifelong friends. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Earl S. Mixell in 2012, and three siblings, Vicki Papoutsis, Judy Robertson and Tony Bailey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Bethel Assembly of God, 400 Miller Street, Chambersburg, with Pastor Aaron Lawrence officiating. Burial will be private.
