Jeffrey L. Martin, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away August 30, 2022 at home after a long illness. He was born on January 22, 1944  in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania  to George  and Virginia  (Shatzer) Martin. He was a 1962 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School. Jeffrey was an avid sports fan and was a PIAA official for many years. He played softball, pickle ball, racquetball, and basketball in many leagues in Chambersburg. He worked at Chambersburg Engineering Company for over 20 years, Pet Ritz Company, and then the Chambersburg YMCA as a facilities manager for the remainder of his career. He and his wife Dee enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time with their grandchildren. 

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dee Martin, his children, Jeffrey L. (husband of Julianne Petersen) Martin, II. of Rydal, PA., Jennifer A. (wife of Mike) Gregory of Falling Waters, WV., Kristine Y. Swartz of Chambersburg, PA., and Michelle L. Kauffman of Fayetteville, PA. He is also survived by two brothers, Eric L. (husband of Rhetta) Martin of Greencastle, PA., and Gregory A. (husband of Sue) Martin of Bangor, PA; Ten grandchildren, Rachel, Kayla, Chrissy, Kyle, Madison, Troy, Maggie, Emily, Savannah, Zakkary, one great-grandchild, Ella, and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Autumn.   

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
