On Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 10:06 AM, Jewel Rosenberry went home to Jesus.
In her words, I am sorry to leave the people I love behind, but God was ready for me to come home. I am survived by my husband Charles Rosenberry; two daughters, Jennifer Turner (Bobby) and Carmen Cook (Vaughn); two grandchildren, Irene Turner and Yancy Turner; mother Nancy Rife; and two sisters, Wanda Flood (Terry) and Marvette Hochstetler (Lynn).
Please don’t be sad for me. I am in Heaven with family and friends who have gone before me, including my daddy Marvin Rife, and I am dancing and singing with Jesus.
A celebration of my life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at The Open Door Church, 600 Miller St., Chambersburg. My family and friends may visit with each other for one hour prior to the service and enjoy lunch together afterward as part of the celebration.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka KS 66675, woundedwarriorproject.org or to Mercy House, 730 Norland Ave, Chambersburg PA 17201 (checks may be made payable to Mercy House with a note attached expressing that the donation be applied to Jewel Rosenberry’s care).
I am gone but not forgotten. Whenever you think of me, plant a pansy flower, enjoy a Pepsi, hug your loved ones, or listen to some Trace Adkins and Elvis! I am happy in heaven and waiting for you!
