Joan I. (Burger) Cline

Joan I. Cline, 88 of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away January 27, 2019 at home with her family by her side. She was born on June 6, 1930 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to David and Nellie (Steach) Burger.  She had been a seamstress working at Sagner and The Stanley Co. and later worked at J.J. Newberrys in Chambersburg.

            She is survived by her three children:  Twila (wife of Paul) Ruth of Columbus, Ohio, Ada (wife of Richard) Harman of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Crystal (wife of Craig) Musselman of Mercersburg.  She has ten grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester L. Cline in 1991 and two children, Faith Carbaugh in 2010 and William Nicholas in 2014.  She is the last of her immediate family.

            Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg with Chaplain Adam Leeper officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 7:30 at the funeral home.  Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
