Jody Mae (Gelwicks) Hann, 62, of Saint Thomas, PA, passed away peacefully,Monday, January 3, 2022 at home. Jody was born September 16, 1959 in Chambersburg, PA to the late Richard Gelwicks and Betty (Martin) Haines.Jody loved working in her yard planting flowers and trees; she enjoyed taking care of her plants and was known for her “green thumb.” She also loved decorating and always made her home beautiful and welcoming. Jody’s greatest joy was her grandchildren. She loved them deeply and shared with them her laughter, always making time with Nana fun. Jody will be missed for her love and dedication to her family, her ongoing strength, and her sense of humor.
She is survived by her three children; Teshia (Hann) Smith (husband Matthew) of Chambersburg, Toby Hann of Lake Charles, LA, and Troy Hann of Saint Thomas. Also surviving are siblings; Judy Blair, Sharon and husband Jerry Couch, Randall Gelwicks, Jeffrey Gelwicks and wife Deb, Connie and husband Ralph Starr, Rebecca and husband Terrill Mathis, Karen and husband Gregory Mickey,
Kimberly and husband Jerry Hann, and Brian Haines and wife Danielle. She is also survived by five grandchildren and many other loved family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a stepfather, George Haines, a sister, Georgia Haines, a niece, Jenny Gelwicks, and a nephew, Calvin Scott.
