John Edward Cook, Jr.

John Edward Cook, Jr., 89, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away September 16, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on April 6, 1931 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to the late John and Grace (Shatzley) Cook-Peters. John retired from TB Woods after 38 years of service. In lieu of his career, he was a minister for 69 years. He also was in charge of building two new churches.

John is survived by his wife of 70 years Ruth May Cook. He is also survived by his 6 children Diane L Rohrbaugh (husband Roy), Debra K Haller (husband Richard), Denise J Clever (husband Gene), Jack E Cook, Desree M Heinbaugh (husband Greg) and Edward J Cook. In addition he is survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchild, 22 great great grandchild, numerous nieces/nephews, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. in Chambersburg on Monday the 21st from 1-2 PM. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Evangelist Samuel Sponaugle officiating. Online condolences may be made at KelsoCorneliusFH.com
