John Ott Newcomer

John Ott Newcomer, 90, passed away May 24, 2022 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. He was born on December 28, 1931  in Chambersburg to John "Pap" and Ruth "Goog" (Ott) Newcomer. John was a graduate of Chambersburg High School and retired from Chambersburg Engineering Company. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army, stationed in Huntsville, Alabama. He enjoyed model airplanes, hunting, and especially fly fishing.
John is survived by his two daughters, Wanda S. Keadle and her husband, Richard of Greencastle, and Ronda L. Newcomer and her husband, Walt Brewbaker of Enola; a sister, Nancy Kuykendall and husband, Norm, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife Lois (Rotz) Newcomer, who passed away May 23, 2017.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, 43 W. Washington Street, Chambersburg, or FLYFISHING.
