Joyce A. Dice, 87, of Chambersburg, PA entered her eternal home with Jesus on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Menno Haven Health Center in Chambersburg.

 

Born October 10, 1937, in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of Frank J. and Rhoda Nissly Dice.

 

Joyce was a graduate of Chambersburg High School.  Following graduation from high school she worked several years and then attended Huntington College where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1969.

 

Joyce moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona after graduating from college and was an elementary school teacher. After retiring from teaching, she returned to Chambersburg where she lived until the time of her death.

 

Joyce was a member of Criders United Brethren Church. She had a passion for missions and had taken several short-term missions trips.  She enjoyed reading, quilting, playing dominoes, and spending time with friends and family.

 

Joyce is survived by several nephews and a niece.  Aside from her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother Herbert Dice, Sr. and sisters Janet Newman and Patsy Whitehead.

 

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Criders United Brethren Church, 2380 Loudon Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Don Baker and Pastor Mike Newman will officiate.  Interment will be private.
