Judith A. Nitterhouse

   The organ and piano keys are still, the chords are quiet.  Judy Nitterhouse, 71, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away August 28, 2021.     She was born on December 7, 1949  in Chambersburg  to John  and Jane (Freet) Kriner.  She had taught piano for 45 years and played in the St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Williamson and St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Upton.  She loved baking christmas cookies every year.  She enjoyed collecting nutcrackers and had a collection of over 500 nutcrackers.  She loved animals and had her cat, Lucky.  She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren.
     She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joe C. Nitterhouse and their two children;  Jodi A. (wife of Glenn) Karper of Chambersburg and Jason C. (husband of Virginia) Nitterhouse of Chambersburg.  She has four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  She is also survived by two brothers, Kevin and Casey Kriner and their families.
