Obituary
Kay R. (Morder) Stake, 85, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away July 28, 2022 at Providence Place, Chambersburg. She was born on August 24, 1936 in Alexandria, Pennsylvania to Harry and Clara (Rudy) Morder. She retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1990. Kay loved spending time with her grandchildren, was an avid reader, and loved watching science fiction movies. She was a long-time member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
Kay is survived her three children Steven (husband of Jean) Stake of Mechanicsburg, PA., Michael (husband of Tawnya) Stake of Chambersburg, PA., and Patricia (wife of Sonny) Keim of Medina, Ohio. She has three grandchildren: Matthew (husband of Christine) Stake of Shrewsbury, PA, Jessica Stake of Kissimmee, FL., and Andrew Stake of Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jack Stake, who passed away May 5, 2019.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services.
