Kenneth N. Ray

Kenneth N. Ray, 88, of Clear Spring, Maryland passed away May 11, 2021 at Homewood at Williamsport, MD. He was born on September 22, 1932 in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania to Walter and Beulah (Bishop) Ray. Kenny retired from AT&T after 37 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Clear Spring. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved cutting wood and enjoying his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bonnie Cornelius Ray and their five children: Annette Hamilton of Chambersburg, Neil (husband of Jennifer) Ray of McConnellsburg, Brian (husband of Deb) Ray of Hagerstown, Lori (wife of Jeff) Suder of Hagerstown, and Jan (wife of Randy) Knisley of Scottsville, Virginia. He is survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Kenny has a sister, Sonnie (wife of Ed) Stenger of McConnellsburg. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday May 15, 2021 at 11:00am at Rose Hill Cemetery, Clear Spring, Maryland with his son, Neil conducting the service.
