Kevin D. McMinn went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday January 19th.  

 

Born in Battle Creek, Michigan, Kevin was the son of the late Neil M. McMinn and Lillian S. (Brylowski) McMinn. 

 

He graduated from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in 1971 and went straight into the U.S. Navy where he served as a Hospital Corpsman.  After graduating from Alderson Broaddus University in 1979, he spent his professional career as a Physicians Assistant.  A member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, his faith was an important part of his life.  He loved his grandkids dearly and they were his life. There wasn't a week that went by without a call or text and he never missed a birthday or holiday; relishing the smiles he brought to everyone's face.

 

Kevin's surviving family include: Children Neil (son) & Danielle (daugher-in-law) McMinn of Deland, FL, Meaghan (daughter) and Lydell (son-in-law) Strayer of South Park, PA. Betsy D. Yeager (Ex. Wife) Bendan J. McMinn (brother) of Poolsville, MD, Theresa Morter (sister)of Chambersburg, PA, Kathleen M. Bernier (sister) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Karen A. Greiner of Waynesboro (sister)

Kevin was preceded in death by: Michael McMinn, Patrick McMinn (Brothers) 

 

Kevin will have a headstone placed in honor of his military service at Arlington National Cemetery.
