Kurt Anthony Updegrave, 66, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1958, the son of Allen M. and Dolores L. (Cooper) Updegrave.
Kurt was a proud and dedicated employee of Letter Kenny Army Depot of Chambersburg, PA for over 35 years, working as a Network Engineer and an Audio Visual Specialist. He enjoyed music, traveling, and spending time with family. From a young age, Kurt had a passion and talent for playing the drums. Throughout his life, he played in several bands, each one bringing a new love for music and his fellow band mates.
Kurt is survived by his wife, Robin (Hay) Updegrave, two daughters; Deanna (wife of Daniel) Kalinich of Shippensburg, PA and Tiffany (wife of Jarred) Cahan of Manchester, PA, and two grandsons; Conner and Harrison. Kurt is also survived by his brother, Scott of CA (husband of Onju), niece and nephew; Lela and Dylan Updegrave. He was preceded in death by his parents and sibling; Kerry L. Updegrave.
Loved ones of Kurt will meet at Lincoln Cemetery for a Celebration of Life at 3:00 on Saturday, November 8th, 2025.
