Lane Sollenberger

Lane Sollenberger, 72, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away June 24, 2023. He was born on May 11, 1951, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to the late Norman and Lois (Rice) Sollenberger.

Lane is survived by his wife Judy Sollenberger, children Brian (husband of Emily) Sollenberger, Brent (husband of Hannah) Sollenberger and Kayla Sollenberger, and grandchildren Carter, Riley, Ella, Alana, Cora and Cy. He is also survived by siblings Allen (husband of Carolyn) Sollenberger, Anne (wife of Raymond) Rife, Joyce (wife of Glen) Raser, Lynn (husband of Andrea) Sollenberger and many loving nieces and nephews.

Lane was a man of many passions.  He was an avid dairy farmer and took great pride in managing the family dairy business and working with animals.  Norlo Farm then and now Norlo Park, named after his parent’s, was owned by the family for over 130 years and by Lane for 25 years.  Lane was a man of strong faith and was a leader in his community.  He was a mentor to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand.  Above all, Lane was a devoted family man, and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held on July 8, 2023, 1PM at New Guilford Brethren in Christ Church.
