Laurie DePasque Obituary

Laurie (Cowen) DePasque of Chambersburg, PA went home to be with Jesus Christ, her lord and savior on June 14, 2026. She went to sleep and woke to find herself in heaven for all eternity. The bible says that all heaven rejoices when a child of God comes home to stay. We can only imagine what unspeakable joy Laurie is experiencing at this moment and what an incredible welcome home party is going right now. Laurie faithfully taught Sunday school, vacation Bible school and taught crafts at Greenwood Hills boys camp. She was also active in a bus ministry bringing kids to hear the gospel and a founding member of the coffee house ministry where John received Christ as savior.

Laurie was born in Kearny, NJ to Tom and Joyce Cowen and survived by husband John and sister Robbin Juliano. Laurie is preceded in death by both parents and brothers Keith and Neil.

There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Mercy House of Chambersburg (www.mercyhouseofchambersburg.org).
