Lisa J. Dietrich, age 61 of Greencastle, PA passed away on Friday September 5, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Hagerstown, MD on August 28, 1964. She was the daughter of Sharon Gray of Walkersville, MD and the late Dean Dietrich of Greencastle, PA.

 

Lisa was a 1982 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. She enjoyed and participated in track and field as well as softball. She continued her education at HCC and in 1984 graduated from the medical transcription program. In 1987, and until 2003 she was owner of BBS Jewelers in Greencastle. Later in life, Lisa earned her CNA which she was very proud of and was an in-home healthcare worker for many years.

 

Lisa loved going to the beach to feel the sand on her toes and sun on her face. She also loved the fresh mountain air and going for drives on the country roads. Her yard and flower beds were great enjoyment to her and it showed. Her favorite pastime and greatest love was being with her daughters and her grandchildren.

 

Lisa is survived by her 2 daughters, Jessica Scott (Smith) (Ronald Cole) of Greencastle, PA and Rochelle Smith (Carla Pena-Souffrant) of New Brunswick, New Jersey; 5 grandchildren Alaziya Piper, Landon Piper, Lillian Piper, Madilyn Scott and Georgina Brindle of Greencastle, PA, 3 sisters Lynde Jo Engle (Charles), Michelle Frock (David), Deanna Dietrich (William Crook). She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and other family whose presence greatly enriched her life through the years.

 

A celebration of life will be held at Jerome R. King Playground, 240 N. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225, on September 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
