Lois Greiner Obituary

On November 6, 2021, Lois L. (Nelson) Greiner, 94, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania was called home to the Lord surrounded by her family, holding the hand of her beloved husband of 75 years, Charlie. She was born on August 5, 1927  in South Amboy, New Jersey  to Francis P. and Almeda (Thompson) Nelson. She loved to read and play cards, and although she didn't like to cook, she was an excellent cook. "Chick" and Charlie loved to travel, camp and took many cruises. They renewed their vows for their 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise in Alaska.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Lois is survived by her loving husband Charles Greiner, her daughters Debora (Mike Martin) Christman and Carol (Gary) Lowe. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul (Jen) Pensinger, Ashley (John) Pensinger, Jonathan (Kaleigh) Lowe, Nicholas Lowe, Christopher Lowe, and Jason (Jen) Martin, and her great-grandchildren Amara, Rylan, Landon, Charley, Madison, Olivia, Stella, Asher and Mason.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her siblings Charles, Cora, Raymond, Grace, Olivia and Stanley.

A funeral service for Lois will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 3:30 PM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Chambersburg. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Services are entrusted to Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg.
