Louise Kay Hockenberry, 77, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away November 11, 2021. She was born on June 16, 1944 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Robert and Gladys (Kauffman) Stine. She retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 33 years. She was an active member of Grand Point Church. She volunteered helping seniors with their tax returns for many years. She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed doing crafts, especially painting.
She is survived by her son, James C. (husband of Jennifer) Hockenberry of Newport, PA, four grandchildren; Clinton (and wife Bethany), Michaela, Warner, Jessica, two great-grandchildren; Erin & James and her daughter-in-law, Laurie (and husband Bill) Smith of Oneida, Tenn. She is survived by two sisters; Judy (wife of Virgil) Frazier of Bedford, PA and Doris Stine of Waynesboro, PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hockenberry, and a son, Bradford Hockenberry.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday Nov. 19th at 11:00AM at the Grand Point Church, Grand Point Road, Chambersburg with Pastor Lawrence Metzler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Inturnment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
