Marlin E. Johnson Sr., 77, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away July 21, 2022 at home with family by his side. He was born on April 4, 1945 in Newville, Pennsylvania to Lewis and Viola (Hamilton) Johnson. He retired from Ingersoll-Rand. He was a member of Lurgan Lions Club and Ridge Church of the Brethren. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, metal detecting, handyman jobs and time with his familly.
He is survived by his wife Donna Kline Johnson, his three children: Malene (wife of Tony) Cox of Shippensburg, Marlin E. Johnson Jr. of Shippensburg, and Mark E. Johnson of Shippensburg, and his five step-children: Mark (husband of Angie) Cox of South Carolina, Penny (wife of Gerry) Kelley of South Carolina, Tony (husband of Malene) Cox of Shippensburg, Garry (husband of Amy) Stine of Dillsburg, and Jamie (husband of Julie) Stine of Newville. He has eight grandchildren: Kady, Joshua, Emily, Amanda, Natalie, Derrik, Ella, and Sophia and three great-grandchildren: Austin, Dakota and Jaxon. He is also survived by four siblings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 28th at 1:30 at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg with Jay Peterson officiating.
