Mary Alice Rice

Mary Alice Rice, 80, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, formerly of Chambersburg,  passed away August 18, 2022 at Gardens At Gettysburg.  She was born on October 8, 1941  in Quincy, Pennsylvania  to Clarence  and Bessie  (Bakner) DeHart.  She had worked as a  seamstress at Clothing Manufacturing factories.  
     Mary is survived by her sister, Lucy,( wife of Melvin) Kerlin of Chambersburg.  She has a daughter-in-law, Betty Hutton of Chambersburg and  also survived by a granddaughter, Betty Hale of Chambersburg and a grandson, Donald Hutton III of Dolesburg, PA.  She has several great-grandsons;  Donald IV, Carter, Mason, and Rylyn and a great-grandaughter, Graylynn.  She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Hutton Jr.
     Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg has been entrusted with conducting the services.
