Michael D. Finnegan, 66, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2026 due to a medical event.
He was born in Johnstown, PA, to the late Thomas and Rea (Arford) Finnegan, and spent his youth in Robinson, PA and Hagerstown, MD.
Michael graduated from United High School in Armagh, PA and eventually moved to the Hagerstown, MD area where he worked in the banking industry as an IT manager prior to his retirement.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, following the latest news, and spending time with his canine friend Cooper.
Michael is survived by his sister Ann Holtzman of Hagerstown, MD, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas Ray and Francis Oliver.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
