Nancy L. Patterson, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away January 18, 2025, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. She was born on June 28, 1945, in Waynesboro, PA, to George “Welty” and Sarah M. (Brewer) Sprenkle.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for everyone. She loved playing with her great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, cookouts, watching Orioles baseball games, playing cards and bingo. In the past, she also played on bowling and horseshoe leagues.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry A. Patterson, son, William “Eddie” Patterson and wife Dana; daughter-in-law, Lillian Patterson; three grandchildren, Justin Patterson and wife Heather, Ashley Patterson, and Nicholas Patterson (Nick’s mother, Sue Jacoby); three great-grandchildren, Alexis Anzalone, Maverick and Camden Patterson; siblings, Yvonne “Sissy” (Harry) Brown, Barbara (Michael) Waldschlager, and Debbie (Dale) Seabrook; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Patterson; siblings, Carol E. Clark, George W. Sprenkle, Terry L. Sprenkle, and Ellen L. Stinebaugh.
At Nancy’s request, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to Mercy House of Chambersburg, 730 Norland Ave., Chambersburg PA 17201.
