Nettie J. (Pine) Rockwell, 87, of St. Thomas, PA, passed away November 27, 2024. She was born March 9, 1937 in Mercersburg, PA, to Harry and Gladys Pine. Nettie retired as a supervisor from the Stanley Company after more than 30 years. She was a nurse's aid at various nursing homes and worked at Walmart for at least 10 years. She was a member of the St. Thomas Methodist Church. She was also a social member of the Ft. Loudon Legion, and part of the St. Thomas Legion Ladies Auxiliary for 54 years. Nettie enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family. She took care of her husband throughout his illness. She loved her family and had a special bond with her grandchildren.  

Nettie is survived by her children, Perry Eugene Rockwell, Rick Allen (husband of Kelly) Rockwell, Terry Lee Rockwell, grandchildren; Cody (husband of Catalena) Rockwell, Brett Rockwell, Courtney (wife of Derrick) Watson, Brady (Mariah Danzberger) Rockwell and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Betty Bender and a brother Russel Pine. In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Franklin Rockwell, as well as siblings Jim Pine, Barb Sharpe and Rodney Pine. 

A celebration of life will be held December 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Thomas-Edenville United Methodist Church.
