Pamela Landis, 45, of St. Thomas passed away unexpectedly along with her son Andre as a result of an accident on July 4th in Gardners, Cumberland County, PA.
She was born February 13, 1981, in Chambersburg, PA, the daughter of Eldon Diller and Joyce (Crider) Diller Varner.
Pam was a member of the Chambersburg Mennonite Church, and an active member of their worship team. She provided daycare services for more than 25 years and loved every one of her babies. For many years she served as a foster parent and also hosted exchange students. She loved being with her family, camping, playing games, flowers and gardening.
Pam is survived by her husband, Durrell Landis; daughters, Alivia and Aubrey; mother Joyce Varner and step-father Tom Varner; siblings, Shawn Diller (Stephanie), Jolene Witmer (Shane), Teresa Cooley (Jessie) and Travis Diller (Kaylynn), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, daycare kids, foster kids, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Diller; maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Lester Crider; and paternal grandparents, Naomi and Jacob Diller.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church, 24 Kauffman Rd E, Chambersburg. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, also at the church. Burial will be held in Meyers Cemetery.
