Paul Allen Clever

Paul was born on November 21, 1948 and died peacefully at home on April 3rd after a year-long battle with cancer.

He is survived by his long-time companion Tawna Stouffer, two daughters Kimberly Clever Rojik of Atlanta, GA and Trina Clever (Brian) Brake of Mercersburg, PA, three grandchildren Emma Rojik, Nathan and Alex Brake, two sisters Judith Clever Hartman of Mercersburg, PA and Lorie Clever Randall of Greencastle, PA and a brother Michael Clever of Mercersburg, PA.

Paul loved history, golfing, and antique collecting. He enjoyed walking in the mountain, morel mushroom hunting, volleyball, lawn crocket and Sunday cookouts with family. Together with his parents, Paul established Buchanan Enterprises in 1980 where they grew and sold hydroponic produce for more than 15 years. Paul had a career in sales with Grove Manufacturing, in Greencastle, PA and later with Branch Electric in Hagerstown, MD until he retired. Paul was skilled in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. He was a meticulous craftsman and completed many projects for his family and friends within the community.

He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Clever Sr. and Anna Mae Lake Clever.

There will be a private graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 8th for family and friends by Pastor Floyd Myers at Meyers Cemetery, Welsh Run, PA.
