Paul C. Wade, 89, of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania passed away June 14, 2021 at home with his family by his side. He was born on February 5, 1932 in Greencastle, Pennsylvania to John and Edith (Myers) Wade. He was a US Marine who served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Grove Manufacturing after 38 years, where he had served as director of manufacturing. He is a member of the St. Thomas American Legion Post 612 and the Freedom Worship Center in Ft. Littleton, where he had served as greeter and usher. Dad's greatest love was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Shirley Paylor Wade and their three children: Tanya Wade (wife of Ed) Tolbert of Chambersburg, Kevin (husband of Jenny) Wade of Ft. Littleton, and Keenan (husband of Andrea) Wade of Marion. He has seven grandchildren: Levi Tolbert, Chelsea Bricker, Cameron Wade, Luke Tolbert, Casey Wade, Kiersten Wade, and Kieren Wade. He also has five great-grandchildren: Easton Bricker, Peyton Bricker, Adelin Bricker, Eleanor Tolbert and Emerson Tolbert. He was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday June 18, 2021 at 11:00AM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., St. Thomas with Rev. Kevin Wade officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 till 8:00PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family requests the omission of flowers and memorial donations be sent to Freedom Worship Center, 28033 Great Cove Road, Ft. Littleton, PA, 17223.
