Paula Simonds Becker

Paula Simonds Becker, 79, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2024, at Chambers Pointe Healthcare Center. She was born on September 24, 1944, in Worcester, Massachusetts to William and Barbara (Hall) Simonds.

Paula is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward; daughter, Barbara Keefer and her husband Paul; stepdaughter, Staci Tyson; stepson Brendt Becker and his wife Haley; granddaughters Taylor and Ava; sister, Susan Caia and her husband Bob; nieces Tobey, Dee Dee, and Diane; nephew, David, many close friends, and her beloved dog, Max.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joel Simonds; nephew, Thomas Partch; and son-in-law, Frank Tyson.

After retiring from a career in sales, Paula spent many years working at Wegman’s in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed counted cross stitch and maintained years long friendships with fellow stitchers.

Paula was sure to bring a smile to everyone she met and will be deeply missed.
