Preston Rosenberry Jr Obituary

Preston M. Rosenberry, Jr., 76, passed away unexpectedly in his home. He was born November 16, 1949, in Chambersburg, PA, the son of Preston M. Rosenberry, Sr. and Evelyn R. (Stevens) Rosenberry.

Preston graduated from James Buchanan High School in 1967. He worked at Foremost Mobile Home and Craft Press, both in Chambersburg, PA, as well as Corning Glass in Greencastle, PA, until his retirement.

He was an avid hunter, using black powder, compound bow and arrow. He loved feeding the animals around his home including turkeys, deer, racoons, squirrels, rabbits, fox, and many birds. He had many to show and was proud of every one of them.

Preston is survived by his children, Angela M. Buterbaugh (Brian) of St. Thomas, PA and Mitch T. Rosenberry of Chambersburg, PA; grandchildren Samantha N. Miranda (Aaron) of Shippensburg, PA, Brian R. Buterbaugh, Jr. of St. Thomas, PA, and Christopher M. Buterbaugh of Shippensburg, PA, as well as one great-grandchild, Lucas A. Miranda. He is also survived by one brother, Gerald E. Rosenberry of Chambersburg, PA, and a cousin, Kay Haynes of Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 6492 Lincoln Way W, St. Thomas, PA. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until the service at 11:00 AM. Private interment will be at St. Thomas Cemetery.
