Obituary
Ralph A. Wadel, 85, of Scotland, Pennsylvania passed away May 21, 2023. He was born on May 14, 1938, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Reuben and Bernice (Pisle) Wadel. He served his country by working at Lancaster General Hospital as an orderly. He worked as a carpenter all of his life. He was a member of the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren.
Ralph is survived by his children, Debra Beckman, Brian (husband of Yvonne) Wadel and Mark Wadel, grandchildren; David (husband of Megan) Beckman, Daniel Beckman and Brandan Wadel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wadel and his brother, Lee Wadel.
A funeral service for Ralph will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren, 260 S. 4th St., Chambersburg, PA 17201, with Revs. Garnet Myers and Liz Thorpe officiating. The family will receive friends and family from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be at Norland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chambersburg Church of the Brethren. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with these services.
