Ray Morris, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away June 8, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1945, in Shellsburg, Pennsylvania to Homer Morris and Eleanor (Stahl) Morris. Ray served in the United States Army in Vietnam. He worked at T.B. Woods and David H. Martin Excavating, both for 18 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler around the family farm.
Ray is survived by his wife, Brenda L. Morris, children Mark Blair, Kimberly Morris, Gena Reath and Kara Benner, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, Grover (Butch) Morris and Marion Redcay.
In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his siblings Charlotte Hardy, Earl (Sonny) Morris, Robert Morris, Roger Morris and Scotty Morris.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg. A graveside service will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
