Robert T. Carbaugh, 79, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away January 4, 2025. He was born July 2, 1945 in Chambersburg, PA to Isabella Virginia Shatzley and Charles Alberti’s Carbaugh.

Robert ‘Bob’ enjoyed the outdoors, walking, working on his Chevy hot rod and spending time with friends and family. He was a veteran of the United States Navy who served in the Vietnam War. Bob also worked for Chambersburg School District from which he retired.

Robert is survived by his son Jeffrey (husband of Katherine) Carbaugh step-daughter Deonna Carmack, grandchildren; Shayla Appleby, great-grandchildren; Ashton, Walker and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Robert’s name may be made to St. Jude’s or the Wounded Warrior Project.
