Robin Olevia Ewing 03/19/1960-10/09/2020
Robin Olevia Ewing, 60, gained her wings and joined her heavenly family, though unexpectantly, Friday October 9th, 2020 at Centennial Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. Robin was born in Chambersburg, PA where she spent most of her life, only living in Las Vegas for about 13 years. Chambersburg was always home.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her children were proud to call her mom. Robin was an avid Steelers fan, and a fan of her grandchildren and their many sports. She also loved to read novels. Anyone who knew Robin knew her grandchildren were the light of her life. She cared deeply for her family and friends. She was always willing to help anyone in need and did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help.
She is preceded in death by her brother Melvin Ewing, her Sister Cindy Ewing, and her Father Curtis Ewing. She is survived by her mother Violet Sullivan of Chambersburg, 4 children, Tavis Mills of Chambersburg, Tabitha Ewing, Tiffany Mills, Aariel Mathis all of Las Vegas, 2 step-daughters Sheena Mathis and Tynesa Mathis , James Mathis, her sisters Cindy Reeder, Theresa Ewing, Debbie Alston, Ramona Ewing, and Carol Ann Hockenberry, 15 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. of Chambersburg, PA on Friday, October 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 pm for a time of visitation and a celebration of her life. Online condolences may be made at www.KelsoCorneliusFH.com
