Ronald Myers Obituary

We lost a good one. Ronald "Zeke" Lee Myers, 80, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2022. Zeke was born at home on July 10, 1942  in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to Woodrow Wilson and Francis Irene (Heckman) Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Zeke married the love of his life, Linda, on September 1, 1962. They would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
Zeke was a devoted, hardworking, and loving husband, dad, pap, and the best pappy Zekel to his great grand kids. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you would have gotten to know his sense of humor. You might remember him by his skeletons teeth rattling joke. He loved making people laugh and was very passionate about many things.
Zeke was a Lifetime Member of the Pennsylvania Trappers Association through District 8. He spent many years heavily involved with trapping events and shows. If you were looking for advice on trapping, he was always ready to help out.
He adored his family. He loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones. His son, Todd, was his best friend, with countless talks, fun times, and fist bumps. He was an irreplaceable man, admired and respected by all.
Zeke is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Linda, who has dedicated her life to caring for him through sickness and health; a son, Todd Myers and wife Kelly of Upperstrasburg; two granddaughters: Lea "Puggers" Zullinger and husband Justin of Millerstown, Erin Truax and partner James of Chambersburg; three great-grandchildren: Chase and Lacey Zullinger, and Jaxson Knight.
We love you and will never forget your orneriness, stories, and love.
Zeke had a soft spot for children and always wanted to help in any way possible. In lieu of cards or flowers, please consider making a contribution to the Children's Miracle Network in Hershey, PA.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
