Roy W. Starr

Roy W. Starr, 91, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 5, 2023. He was born at home on May 30, 1932, to Gilbert and Nellie Starr. He was a life member of the junior fire department where he was a tillerman and held multiple offices. He was employed at Frick Company as a millwright over 20 years.  

Roy is survived by his children, Linda Hobbs, Ralph Starr, Paul Starr, Linford Starr, Judy Starr, Tina Short, Brenda Bateman, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ronald Starr and all of his siblings Rebecca Gordon, Ruth Hornbaker, Joseph Thomas Starr, John Starr, Junior Starr, Catherine Starr, Barton Starr, Scott Starr and Merle Starr. 

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg.
