Ruth P. Rotz

Ruth P. Rotz, age 89, of Chambersburg, went to be with her Lord on February 17, 2015 at Falling Spring Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born October 10, 1925 in Chambersburg, PA to Glenn and Lavina (Piper) Pilgrim. She was the widow of the late Donald L. Rotz who died in 2004. Ruth was retired from Letterkenny Army Depot. She was a member of Salem United Brethren Church where she was active in mission work of the church and N.A.R.F.E. She is survived by her daughter, Donna R. (wife of Clark) Crider of Chambersburg and two grandchildren: Chad (husband of Chastity) Crider of Rock Hill Furnace and Dacia (wife of Dana) Shank of Shippensburg. She has two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Deklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a son Alan G. Rotz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Salem United Brethren Church, Letterkenny Road, with Rev. Art Page officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, 725 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA will be handling the arrangements.
