S. Kathryn Martin

S. Kathryn Martin, 98, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania passed away November 3, 2023, at Quincy Village. She was born on June 1, 1925, in Marion, Pennsylvania to C. W.  and Ella (Heckman) Martin. Katy was a seamstress at the Stanley Company and sewed her family's clothing. She loved cooking, canning and camping trips with her husband. She enjoyed any time that she spent with family and friends.

Katy is survived by three sons, Dennis Ray Martin of East Berlin, Michael Lynn Martin of Hanover, and James Nelson (husband of Brenda) Martin of Cookeville, TN. She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Elmer D. Martin and five siblings, Paul, Elmer W., Kenneth, Clarence and Ellis. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg with Pastor John Buhr officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at 10AM Browns Mill Cemetery in Marion (Kauffman Station), 7635 Browns Mill Rd, Kauffman, PA 17202.
