Samuel T. Burns Obituary

Samuel T. Burns, 79, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away December 17, 2022 at Quincy Village.  He was born on September 17, 1943  in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania  to Merle  and Helen  (Lader) Burns.  He retired from Knouse Foods after 46 years.  Sam was a member of Ft. Loudon Ruritan, Chambersburg Moose, and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Ft. Loudon.  He was an avid Orioles, Redskins, and Penn State fan.  
     He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Betty L. Gift Burns and a sister, Nancy L. (wife of Galen)Yeager of Chambersburg.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Doyle and her husband, John J. Doyle, a brother, John E. Burns, and a nephew Shane Dean Yeager.
     A Celebration of his life will be held Jan. 28, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Trinity United Church of Christ Church with Rev. E. Loy Garber officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
