Seth J. Miller, 94, of St. Thomas, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, at home. He was born on November 11, 1928, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Jacob Harvey and Nannie (Bricker) Miller.

Seth was a faithful member of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church of Edenville since 1968. He served as deacon for over 30 years and was involved in mission work. He loved the Lord and his family and faithfully cared for his wife in her declining years. He was a lifelong farmer.

Seth is survived by his children Marvin A. and Harry H. of the home, St. Thomas, PA, Jerry R. (husband of Arlene) Miller of Friedens, PA, and Mark R. (husband of Ada) Miller of Chambersburg, PA, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, Seth is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Lois A. (Heckman) Miller, son Glen L. Miller. He was the last of his immediate family. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the Portico River Brethren Meeting House, 5501 Fort McCord Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202, with the ministry of the Emmanuel Fellowship Church and Somerset Mennonite Fellowship officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 2:00 till 4:00 PM and 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Portico River Brethren Meeting House. Interment will be held at Brechbill Cemetery. The family requests the omission of flowers.
