Shirley A. Armstrong

Shirley A. Armstrong, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly December 18, 2021 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born on April 21, 1943  in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania  to William  and Ruth  (Rudisill) Seiders.  She was a 1961 graduate of Chambersburg High School.  She retired in 2007 from F&M Trust where she had been the head teller.  She enjoyed playing bingo and vacationing at the outer banks.  Her greatest love was her children and especially her grandchildren.  
     She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Marlin "Mick" Armstrong and her two children;  Ginger L. (wife of Steven) Jeannotte of New Market, Maryland and Michael (husband of Sonia) Armstrong of Chambersburg.  Shirley has three grandchildren; Ashley, Makenzie, and Emma. and one great-grandson, Riis.  She is also survived by a brother, Tony Seiders.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Seiders.  
     A celebration of Shirley's life will be held Wednesday Jan. 5, 2022 at 7:00PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
