Obituary

Sylvia G. Bragunier, 86, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away on April 18, 2023, at Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She was born on June 20, 1935, in Cito, Pennsylvania to Oakley and Marie  (Cutchall) Bradly. She attended Fairview Avenue Brethren in Christ Church for several years where people knew her as Rusty. Sylvia was a Sunday School Teacher for many years, helping in the nursery. She also helped out with Boy Scouts. Sylvia was a very Godly and dependable woman. She was a loving mother and grandmother who supported and loved her family very much. She will be missed by her dog Holly and by all who knew her.

Sylvia is survived by three children, Sharon Fritz, Walter Lee Bragunier, Jr., Gail Werling, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a brother Wayne Brady as well as a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Bragunier, Sr. and her sister Alva Newcomer.

A celebration of life will be held at the South Mountain Bible Church at a later date. Interment will be at Strang Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
