Sylvia Pauline Kline, 98, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away August 13, 2021 at home with family by her side. She was born on September 25, 1922 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Thadeus and Lillie (Hamilton) Alleman. She had retired from the Chambersburg School District where she had been a cook. She had been a member of the Eastern Star and the Upper Strasburg Rebecca Lodge. She loved jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, bowling, gardening, cooking and baking for her family. She and her husband enjoyed traveling. Her family was her greatest love. She was a member of Roxburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her seven children: Lois (wife of Mike) Rivera of Paris, Kentucky, Earl (husband of Nancy) Kline of Shippensburg, Ronald (husband of Carolyn) Kline of Chambersburg, Donna (wife of Marlin) Johnson of Chambersburg, Larry (husband of Cathy) Kline of Orrstown, Dorothy (wife of Jay) Peterson of Fayetteville, Randall (husband of Debra) Kline of Madison, Alabama. She has 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters; Irene Byers and Jean Rebuck. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl B. Kline and a daughter, Linda Heckman.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday August 18, 2021 at 11:00AM at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with Layperson Jay Peterson officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
