Thelma M. Stevens Obituary

Thelma M. Stevens, 83, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away December 15, 2022 at home. She was born on October 19, 1939 in Big Cove Tannery, Pennsylvania to Hartford and Martha (Fox) Howell.  She had worked at the Stanley Company and retired from the Amvets Post 224.  She loved gardening, golfing and traveling. Her most important love was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
     She is survived by her three children:  Gregory (husband of Sherry) Lynch of Harrisonville, Pamela (wife of Richard) Piper of Greencastle, and Sharon (wife of Wayne) Swope of Chambersburg.  She has three grandchildren: James Sheets, Megan Mears, Ashley Kissoon, two step grandchildren; Crystal Pittman, Tammy Harbaugh and fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She is also survived by two sisters; Peggy Wagner and Bonnie Mills and two half-sisters; Wanda Boveja and Wilma Barnes.  She was preceded in death by her husband Raundel E. Stevens, three brothers and two sisters.
