Troy David Ridgley, 52, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg. Born May 18, 1965 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Franklin R. and Judith A. (Hock) Ridgley of Fayetteville, PA. He was husband of Janine M. (Britsch) Ridgley of Chambersburg.
Troy graduated from Chambersburg Senior High School in the Class of 1983. He was a welder for the Frick Company, Waynesboro, PA for more than 16 years. He later followed his passion as a Mechanic where he was the owner and operator of Troy's Automotive Repair, Chambersburg.
Troy attended Chambersburg First Church of God, Chambersburg,and was a member of the National Rifle Association, and the National Hot Rod Association. He enjoyed building engines, making cars go faster and lived for drag racing,
In addition to his wife and parents, Troy is survived by one step daughter, Neely M. Cooper, four stepsons, Steven R. Cooper, Jr., Cody A. Cooper, Dylan R. Cooper and Jeremy S. Cooper, one brother, Shawn A. Ridgley and his wife Michelle R. Ridgely, all of Chambersburg, three step-sisters, Mary E. Cooney, Laura A. Clark both of Middletown, PA and Dawn A. Rohrer of Elizabethtown, PA, two step-grandchildren, Kirra Cooper and Dyson Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
