The dear, sweet, Trudy Anne Sites, 78, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania passed away February 5, 2024, at Shippensburg Rehabilitation and Health Care Center after a brief illness. She was born on May 12, 1945, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Harry and Mildred (Eberly) Knepper. She was a 1963 graduate of Chambersburg High School. She worked for J. Schoeneman as a seamstress, and at Menno Haven as a cook. Trudy was an active Christian. She was known to some as Sam. She was a beloved mother, sister, and aunt; a humble, loving friend to many. Trudy was a good listener, dependable and always helped anyone that she could. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing solitaire, shopping and spending time with family and friends.

 

Trudy is survived by three children, Harold C. "Buddy" Sites, Jr. (Carol Stopyra) of Chambersburg, Tracey A. Kranzley (Evan) of Martinsburg, WV., and Tina M. Artley (John) of Chambersburg; two grandsons, Chad Sites and Logan Artley; and a great-grandson, AJ McFerren; a brother Arthur Knepper (Marie); a special niece, Vicki Gossert; a special nephew, Shawn Sites, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Harold C. "Bud" Sites, a brother Harry G. Knepper and a sister Evelyn A. Gossert.
