Rev. Vaughn E. Kipe, 86, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born May 4, 1938 in Waynesboro, PA, the son of the late Earl W. and Daisy B. (Sprenkle) Kipe.

Vaughn was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He formerly worked at Mercersburg Tannery, P. Nichols & Sons, Vaughn Kipe Insurance, and was the pastor at Harvest Time Ministries for over 35 years.

He is survived by his wife Judith Tracy Kipe, whom he married on April 16, 2012; daughter, Vicki Stains of Chambersburg and son, Rick Kipe Sr (Marcey) of Burnt Cabins; a step-daughter, Megan Neitzel (Bradley), of Shrewberry and a step-son, Matthew Tracy of Chambersburg; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, and 1 sibling Daniel Kipe (Leah) of Greenvillage. Aisde from his parents, Rev. Kipe was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy (DeShong) Kipe, and his siblings Dona Barnes, Samuel Kipe, Mary Kipe, Shirley Kipe, Anna Helfrick, Daisy Altland, Pearl Friese, Ben Kipe, Janet Wenger, Harry Kipe, Richard Kipe, Charlie Kipe, and Elmer Kipe.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at The First Pentecostal Church of Chambersburg, 6112 Sheller Rd, Chambersburg, with Pastor Phyllis Martin officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Stenger Hill Cemetery.
