Obituary

Vonnie L. Crider, 75, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania passed away June 14, 2023, at home with family by her side. She was born on December 1, 1947, in Hagerstown, Maryland to Allen and Pearl (Smith) Tosten.

She worked in the cafeteria at many schools in Chambersburg where she loved interacting with the students and her co-workers.
Vonnie was a loving mother and grandmother, a huge support to her family.  She enjoyed socializing with friends and family. She loved holiday's and enjoyed preparing meals for large family gatherings. She was an animal lover and had dogs all through the years.

Vonnie is survived by three children Tracey (wife of Steve) Wright of Fayetteville, Rhonda (wife of Andy) Zeigler of Waynesboro, and Ronald Crider Jr. of Fayetteville. She has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and brother, Vonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Crider, who passed away March 16, 2021. She is also survived by Little Ronnie, her four-legged blessing who saw her through her final years.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 6:00 till 8:00PM at the Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd. Chambersburg.  Interment services will be on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelsocorneliusfh.com.
